Collection: The Lunatic Gardens: An Asylum of the Mind

Some people will tell you that only darkness grows from the cracks of a broken mind.

But a fractured mind is not empty. Beneath every thought the mind refuses to bury, something remains.

For the mind will split itself to survive what it could not survive wholly.

And from the place that broke the worst, what began as a crack
has become a garden— quietly growing behind the walls of the mind.

...where the roses reek of rot,
the lilies laugh too much,

and madness tends the soil.
